I wonder what your daughter’s levels have been. You say they are good but what some doctors consider good is really too low and the child is on too much medicine. The 17ohp should be between 500-1000. If your daughter’s levels are consistently lower that could be causing slow growth. Also I would strongly consider going on a schedule of 4 times per day using the circadian rhthym dosing. You divide the dosage into 4 doses with the larger doses given at 3am and upon waking and the smaller doses given at noon and 5pm. If you are giving a large dose before bed that could be causing slow growth also.Julia sMy daughter had stopped growing too. Now she is on track at 75% (my husband and I are both tall)! Once we switched doses around we were able to lower her overall daily dose and this helps too!
Some people are more susceptible to side effects from the Cortef than others. By following the circadian rythym of our bodies and when they naturally secrete cortisol we can more clowely mimic this and therefore need less Cortef which is the goal; to suppress the hormones with the least amount of Cortef.
Good luck. Let me know if you have any questions. We have been dosing this way for 4 years now and it works great!
