There is really no reason for the liquid. Yes cutting pills is a pain but can be done. We even 1/8 the 5mg pill. All you need is an oral syringe. You cut the pill and put the desired amount in the oral syringe, put the plunger in and then suck up a liquid and wait for it to dissolve. Then you squirt it into the baby’s mouth and repeat several more times to get all the meds. Julia
