Hi, I do not double for just a runny nose, however keep an eye out for fever. Just paracetemol or a decongestant to ease symptoms is usually enough.

However keep an eye out in case it deteriorates into something else. My daughter has had a runny nose and cough for a few days. Tonight she developed a fever so I have double dosed, given fluids and paracetetoml. Fever came down and she is now sleeping peacefully.
