My Mom had an allergic reaction from the CAT scan solution-  she has kidney cancer and has had several CAT scans of late-  she had the allergic reaction after the second or third scan.  They gave her the same routine,  prednisone and benadryl.

I think they can do the scans without the contrast stuff?  They mentioned that for next time for her-  she has to be scanned every 3 motnhs.
