have her drink lots of water before the blood test, this makes her veins bigger and full.  make it a fun day for her, my parents always took me to the best ice place in the sf bay area.  that always made me want my blood test.  third it will get better in time, just hang in there.  as far back that i remember it has not been bad.  your child will forget how scared they were as a baby.
