I would down the prednisone at 3AM with Kalua and cream- seemed like a great idea at the time. 

 

If you have issues with any surgery or the way you were examined then please don’t drink.

 

Funny how the drinking does come up. It was not my little CAHer  ...what a word.

 

Think one and done and you will be fine but think one every hour? please get the number for the cab - better yet tell the bartender first that you want to take a cab. Don’t drink to pass out and one can so easy turn into 4 to 11 drinks.

I had a high tolerance at first but after a couple of years that stopped.

I was a black out drunk for awhile besides a few times choking on my own vomit but when I woke up  the exams and surgery that were done were still there so  no alcohol not really a friend. I could drink and stay up for three days while working but I think the thyroid was hyper anyway - no endo was into helping me or telling me that one but the adreanl gland whenI took pred was just fine and that is almost like dex. During the chemo for cancer I was having Irish cider and I had tons of hydro and they also gave me dex - I was fine because only had one.

Yes - dehydration ...you bet but as someone that was happy to escape reality, i would put a pitcher of water next to the bed after I was drinking started to catch up with me.

The pred that i was on at the time ...See if you are to drunk then you just aren’t going to take the cortisone even though I do remember coming home drunk and trying to open the bottle and having all the pill fly out on the carpet but as the good? little CAHer that I wasn’t ...lab rat teaching tool to service U of Mich students rich kids ... open your legs  we want to take a peek good girl   ...sucker I sat on the floor -  picked up the cortisone pill from the carpet and ate one after that I put the other pills back in the bottle from the carpet and then crashed into bed with my clothes on- then passed out but woke up to the same exam experiences we good let the nice doctor inspect you. As a child and a teen we the experts need you and your uterus ready for penitration . As a ten year old you here slide on my finger good girl.

We be da experts here  I’m a doctor .......see if you don’t have any issues then drinking here and there with even getting drunk once in awhile isn’t a problem and the cah/ dex will manage like anyone else  but if you end up with drinking as a hobby then you will have trouble sooner or later.

Been sober for 4 years and I guess it’s worth it.
