My daughter (SWCAH) just finished her first week of 1st grade. I send Gatorade everyday to school. They have 2 recesses outside in this 98 degree heat. She drinks alot of gatorade after these recess periods and I was just wondering if it is ok to let her drink as much as she wants or should you limit the amount of gatorade and offer water as well? I just worry about her losing salt, so I let her have plenty of gatorade. But, I also worry that too much may not be a good thing either? Is all of the other stuff that is in gatorade ok to have so much of....potassium, sugar, calories, etc. If anyone has any adivice, I would appreciate it!!GM
