Lactose intolerance?

Does this sound familiar to anyone? My daughter (possible LOCAH/possible carrier) was given an antibiotic, Biaxin, back in May for a sinus infection (I’ve read that people with LOCAH are prone to sinus infections. Anyone else hear that?). As she was finishing it up, she developed diarrhea, which I figured was due to the antibiotic killing off the good bacteria in her intestines. We gave her yogurt to replace the good bacteria, and stopped the antibiotic, but the diarrhea continued. She lost 5 lbs. Finally we figured out that it only happened when she had dairy products. Now she is taking pills for lactose intolerance, which helps, but she says she is not back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else? Does it have to do with steroid treatment? Thanks for any insight.
