My husband was carrying our 9 month old son downstairs and fell. My son fell down about 10 stairs. He cried right away and other than a little bruise on his cheek he seemed fine. We took him to the E.R. just to make sure he is okay. A doctor examined him and sent us home for 4 more hours
(we had already been there one hour). We have to go back to the hospital in a few minutes. No blood work was done. He seems okay though. We did not increase his hydrocortisone. Should we? He now has a swollen cheek and is still bright alert, happy and acting like himself.
