Hi Christine,

i’m an adult with SWCAH, i’m 29yrs old now.  It sounds like he’ll be fine, i’ve been in so many trips and falls over the years.  Only when i broke bones did doubling have to be done.  I can even feel it too, i get shaky and go into shock when there’s too much pain.  Sounds like your little angel is doing well, if he gets a fever or they find broken bones you should double for sure.  Trust me, many times ER doctors or doctors in general don’t know what to do with CAH patients.  I once had a doctor tell me that being on hydrocortisone alone will replace decadron and florinef combined!

I would of died if i wouldn’t of brought my own florinef from home and was taking it without the nurses knowing.
