Thank you for your post!  That is one of my concerns is that Abby is not really able to focus and learn the way she should.  And all the other kids for that matter!  It’s really not a great environment for learning.  Fortunately, next year a brand new school will be completed and it will have A/C.  Up until now she has always had a/c.  We live in Ohio and up until sometimes October the heat can be in the 90’s with 80% humidity.  That is a bear!  In hindsight, do you think you would have benefited from extra cortef?  I just want to make sure she gets through the next 2 months doing well.  I think  5th grade is such a pivotal year in education.

She is right now, taking a nap on my bed.  To me this says the heat and school are taking a toll.
