Thanks all for your responses on and off the board!  I didn’t think as much as I should have about the salt and electrolyte issue.  I am exteremly concerned and waiting for a call back from her endo.  She came home today in good spirits but seeming disoriented, confused and for the 2nd time in a row forgot her homework!  I do not want to blame her lack of focus on cah and the heat BUT this is really unlike her.  Especially since we went through a weekend of talking to her and telling her the consequences of forgetting her homework again.    I put a call into the teacher so we can talk about it but I am really worried.  I went to the school today because Abby had a stomach ache.  She was mostly fine just feeling a bit off.  The heat in the school was 96 degrees!  I am making phone calls about this tomorrow!
