Hypo does = less.......  The way I understand it works is that the boys’ adrenals start with some function, but the cells of outer layer of the glad "cease" working much like Addison’s (however is a x-linked genetic defect that only affects boys).  Still primary adrenal insuff so the treatment is the same Floreneff + Corteff, but my guys will cease producing androgen which has an impact on testosterone production come puberty time.  So instead of early puberty, we will have to deal with late puberty and more than likely a "forced" chemical puberty.  As is always said, there are worse conditions to "cope" with........

I am just grateful that there is a community of people that can share insight and give support!  Life isn’t always easy, but having a way of coping is helpful- I feel very lucky for my sons’ doctors and ALL of you!!!
