hi all

my son’s almost seven months now.he has been on mother’s feed most of the time until recently we started his liquid and semi solid diet.

the other day we noticed that his upperlip chin and the area surrounding his lips got red and was quite prominent.we gave him soup made out of pulses and the  base of the soup was hot.(not hot in terms of warmth but ...)

he  also has mild cough and cold and is on a 5 day antibiotics dosage.the base is sulpher.i called up our sons pead  and she suggested to take an antiallergic so that if it is an allergy of any kind it will subside.i also noticed the same reddishness on his upper forearm.

after two days the thing is almost gone like only 5% is there .

but i was wondering if that is not redishness that is caused due to over dosage.i have read that redness due to overdodage starts on abdomen area and upper thighs.i checked thoroghly on his abdomen,chest and thighs but they were totally clear.

but if anbody can help as to what could be the reason of redness on chin and upper lip or if that could be because of overdosage  i’d me more than thankful.
