I agree that the medics aren’t going to look at a tattoo in time of emergency and there is a chance anyway that the said tattoo might be obstructed anyway from what may transpire to cause emergency. It’s just easier to see the medical alert braclet. I have the best three tattos : ) from the radiation set points  

 

As for tattoos for the under 18 set? the kids down here after allergy test for henna may get henna tattoos that wear off.

Still it is a fun idea because I would also joke about getting the ID  band that you are given in the hospital tattooed on because I seem to be there every couple of months for something.
