I hadn’t ever heard of the solu-cortef shot till i came on here.  Is that something everyone should have?  Should I ask my endo for it? 

I also feel like everyone involved (pediatrician/endo) is being much too relaxed and uninformative about it.  When the results first came back he wasn’t seen by anyone for 6 weeks, I now see that that was a big mistake, we were very lucky nothing happened.  In fact the first endo we called put us on a 4 month wait list for the first visit!  Thankyou for the CARES link, I will definitely be printing that out.  The one and only time we had to go to the ER it was 5 hours before he was given cortisol by IV.  The ER doc wouldn’t listen to me at all.
