Hi Sue. I can TOTALLY relate to your problem.  I have a son with SWCAH that will be two in a week, and he also has always had problems with gagging. So much so, in fact, that I basically started feeding him only things that were soft, such as noodle soup, etc. He has become so accustomed to pasta that he pretty much refuses everything else...and askes for "Noonles" for every meal. He also is a pretty big fan of grilled cheese sandwiches.  I cant get him to even touch meat...and almost no fruits or vegetables.  I’m waiting for him to outgrow this phase where he has one or two favorite foods and refuses everything else.  As far as the vomiting...he is the exact same way as your son.  My son vomits for absolutely no reason...sometimes as often as 3 or 4 times a day, for several days. Then, he’ll go for a week or so without vomiting.  He will be playing, acting totally normal, vomit his ENTIRE stomach content, and keep playing like nothing happened.  I am clueless as to why he does this, and his Pediatrician doesnt seem to understand either. I have had to wait a very long time to see his Endo, and plan on asking him about it when I see him.  The pediatrician suggested Reflux, and after doing some research I cut him totally off orange juice, which he usually drank a cupful in the morning. That seems to have helped but hasnt been the "cure". I’ve also noticed that he sometimes even vomits first thing in the morning when he has eaten NOTHING.  When he was a small baby, he was a restless sleeper and would arch back and scream...the doctor could never explain that either, except to say "maybe its reflux"..... they keep coming back to the reflux, so maybe theres something to that. Either way....if you ever get this problem solved, I’d LOVE to know the answer.  Best wishes  :)
