Danny CarltonLinda and the kids brought my laptop, and in turns out the hospital has wifi. Last night the doctor said that there’s also an indication of hepatitis, so before they can remove the gallbladder they want to make sure it isn’t hepatitis causing all the problems, so they’re keeping me over the weekend to do so tests and observation, and if they rule out the hepatitis, they’ll remove my gallbladder Monday.
It also turns out that both morphine and some other pain med makes me really, really nauseous, so they’ve been also giving me anti-nausea medicine (I can’t remember the name because I’m still somewhat out of it). Even that doesn’t take away all the nausea, and I threw up for the first time in over a decade, this morning (I generally have a very strong stomach).
I haven’t had any solid food since Tuesday, so I should come out of this with a significant weight loss, as well, which I need.
Thanks for all the kind nd encouraging words.
