Jimmy my Daughter is studying to be a physician assistant and she explained the whole genetic thing this way if two carriers have 4 kids two should have CAH one should be a carrier and one should have no trait for CAH. My oldest Brother is 6"2" and was never tested nor was my Sister who is the baby and 5’8". My Brother and I were the middle children and are both barley 5’.  He had a daughter born with CAH and that is the first we knew of it in our family. The Dr. recommended they all be tested but no one thought it was important to the ones normal height. Since then my Sisters grandson was having some test and he is a carrier so it stands to reason my sister is a carrier and passed one gene on to her son who passed it to his. Both of my kids should be carriers they have not been tested yet but plan to before marrying!
