I am wondering if any of the adult females with CAH that have had children have had any scares of the babies having a congenital heart defect or problem. I am scheduled for a more specialized ultrasound than what my PPO hospital can provide. I am approx. 20 weeks along, and my OB said that the ultrasound report came back as "an increase of echo density of the left ventricle", or something like that. Sound familiar to anyone? My OB doesn’t seem too concerned, and says that most of the time the final results of the second ultrasound come back without any complications or problems, and that this is just to be on the safe side. Anyone with any positive feedback on this or any idea if this would/could be caused by CAH?KERRY
