I agree with the post above why they said, "men don’t share". Oh boy do I agree with that one. Did you ever hear of "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus" Well it’s true. He may not be sharing because once you do find out about CAH you will worry and pressure him to take his medication that is required of this disease. In which you would be right to do because he may be fine now, but if he gets the flu, or some very serious illness, it could kill him. There used to be a website YEARS ago. It was about a young man that quit taking his meds. His mother created it in his memory and to serve as a reminder to TAKE YOUR MEDS. Sometimes the meds. can cause weight gain and other things. The reason this young man stopped taking his meds. was to loose weight. And he did. The wrong way. He wound up having I think pnemonia, and went into cardiac arrest and died. His mother posted here as "Dixie". I wish I could find that website to share with you. If anyone else remembers this share it with us.

You are right to be concerned. VERY concerned. Tell him what you have heard here. And then leave it. Hard to do when you love him so much but you can’t control people. Just offer him your love and support. Go to CARES and it will tell you about this disease. He just may not want to share either because some people are private about their diseases. Like this friend of mine’s mother in law. She has Diabetes and is SO admamant about people not knowing she has diabetes.  I mean it is extreme. So know it isn’t you, it is him. Good luck!
