I (parent of cah daughter) was diagnosed with ventricular septal defect (minor heart murmer) as a young child, but nobody hears it anymore. I haven’t been to a cardiologist in about 25 years (since my early 20’s), but still pre-medicate for dental visits and any surgery. I have had full physical exams with ekg’s, but still nothing.
