I don’t know if the people from Cares regularly read this but I thought I’d ask.  Are there going to be any discussions including carriers and their symptoms?  I ask because my mom takes cortef daily.  She was normal on a ACTH test.  But her blood pressure is always extremely low and she wastes salt.  when she has been in the hspital due to illness or surgery, she has classic symptoms of adrenal shock and the doctors give her solu medrol.  However, the doctors do not know why she has these symptoms.  her 17ohp was normal but she had been on hormones for menopause symptoms.  I was wondering if adrnal like conditions might be touched on at all.  Is she like this because she is a carrier?  I thought carriers having symptoms has not been proven, am I wrong?  I remeber back in 04 they talked about carriers at the conference but I had a new baby and I was sleep deprived and missed a lot due to her being with me and so little.
