Our children always get the flu shot (2 are SWCAH, one isn’t).  We’ve never had any reaction and have not stress dosed.  Our daughter did get the flu anyway one year because that was the year they said they had it ended up being a different strain of the flu, so the shot didn’t help.  We managed through it.  Stay well.
