Hi!  This is not going to be a popular answer and Laura will probably kick my butt- but........ we have only gotten the flu shot for our 8 & 10 year old ssw cah daughters twice.  The only time they have gotten the actual flu were the 2 years they were vaccinated.  They’ve caught every other bug under the sun but not the actual flu (except those 2 years).  It just seemed too coincidental for me and I’m sure it was linked but........  It is recommended that you get it done, especially if you have CAH.  We did not stress dose for the shot before it was done.
