My son is a 7.5 month SWCAH and we are having a terrible time with sleep.  He is usually up 3-4 times per nite (my wife and I are going crazy).  We are convinced that it is over medication.  He also "lurches" and has fits when trying to sleep.  During the day he’s the happiest kid I’ve ever seen.

We are actually at NIH this week and hope to get some answers tomorrow.  His meds haven’t been reduced yet.  I also think we’ve given him some bad sleep habits by coddling too much (our endo at first said not to let him cry more than 10 minutes).

If I learn anything that might help tomorrow I will post again.  I wish I had encouraging news but we are in the same boat- we dread every nite once 8pm rolls around.
