re: hair--confused

I’m surprised to see all these comments about excess hair. Are all of you classical CAH? I know that this is a common complaint with LOCAH and is often what causes someone to go to the dr and get the LOCAH diagnosis. But I didn’t realize that it is also a problem with classical, other than as a symptom of early puberty in undersuppressed children. Otherwise, it seems like that if you’ve been adequately treated since birth, this shouldn’t be happening. When you say that your levels are ok, does that include testosterone? I have read that once a hair follicle has been stimulated by testosterone it often will not revert, even with treatment. So maybe the excess hair just means that at some time there was too much testosterone? Can anyone explain? Thanks.
