I remember those days, I would sleep in the same room with Ashley (11yrs, SWCAH) and basically stay up all night monitoring her breathing and checking if her fever had broken. 

But as she got older and the illnesses became far and few between it did get easier to deal with.  She has not had a crisis in over a year.  Last year at Christmas she did run a fever but I double dosed and everthing was good, she didn’t even vomit.  We haven’t been to the ER in at least 2 years.

It will get easier.
