I do not recommend stopping your medications.  Would anyone ever suggest to a diabetic patient to stop their medications?  I can not even function properly if I miss one dose of my medications.  I get this cloudy brain feeling, I feel very strange and I can not concintrate.  I also get unbarable headaches.  Any bit of stress will make me cry (when I am off my meds) If I stop my florinef I get super thirsty and i can not quench the thirst.  I tried this once for about 3 weeks because I was curious about the necessity of florinef (never would I try it with cortef) I have never gone longer than one or two days with out a full treatment of my cortef.  I even increase my doses durring stressful times such as exams or compititions.  If I don’t, I end up played out and then I get sick with whatever is going around at the time.
