Do you know what the dr based the non-classic diagnosis on (17ohp levels, for example)? It would be very unusual from what I understand for a child to present with non-classic at such an early age (it’s also called late-onset). But basically, non-classic is a partial enzyme deficiency and so not as serious as classic. There is some cortisol being produced, just not always enough. Hope this helps.
