Yes, they gave me a lot of contrast for the ct-scan. There was a container of barium to drink (blechh) And then they injected barium directly into my bloodstream.

My mother was there during the two days. She didn’t call 911, and I wasn’t able to. She says my body temp went to almost 3(C) below normal and that my pulse was very faint. But she tended to me.

The second worst episode was at work, and I was passed out within a minute of noticing anything. They had someone with medical training available. I was able to sit up after a few hours. My skin turned red/purple all over and stayed broken out for a few days. The doctor said it was probably just something that was going around (ha ha)

On more than two occasions, it’s happened while I’ve been driving. Those were the scariest times. But I don’t drive much any more, I know it’s not safe for me.
