Hello Eden, my daughter is 3mos old and she to has to take salt also. She was diagnosed at a few days old also, so I am not sure how much of a salt-waster she is either.  But as far as the giving of the salt, she HATES the salt when it is clear but the pink colored salt she can deal with that ok. She was initially taking 0.8cc of salt four times a day but her endo reduced it to 0.8 three times a day.  I am also breastfeeding and I pump and put the salt in about 2ounces of breastmilk and feed it to her that way. She has the same fit as your baby sometimes(especially if the salt is clear) and at that point we just syringe it to her.  I don’t have a problem with her not wanting the breast milk when I am nursing her at all.  I never had given it a thought as to it making her not want to nurse.  I had also in the beginning tried just shooting it in her mouth and she would vomit and EVERYTHING. Needless to say, I don’t do that anymore.  Is the salt you have clear or pink?  How many times a day does he take the salt?  Does he also take the Florinef too?  I don’t mean to ask so many questions but I am new to this also so I am just curious.  Feel free to ask me any questions you feel you can even email me at tamarapruden@yahoo.om
