To add to the others, LOCAH is a PARTIAL enzyme defiency, rather than a complete enzyme defiency as in Classical CAH. So generally, it is not life threatening, but the increased 17ohp is converted to androgens and causes problems, such as premature puberty, infertility, hirsutism. These symptoms are usually what lead to the diagnosis. It is caused by a different mutation.
