Hi Eden

My SWCAH son is almost two and I have breastfed him up to now. The beg. was very tough with the salt and a lot of stress, BUT i found out a method that may help you.

I make up a bottle (breast milk with 1/2 tsp. salt) and put some in an oral syringe. Then when he is on my breast, I squirt the salt milk on the side. I was able to do this throughout the day, and it worked. We tried giving him the salt straight (he gagged and foamed) and in water, but no luck. This was the method. I was so excited when he could eat solids. Now just breastfeeding him is luxury without worrying about the salt. I am planning on weaning him completely

Good luck and God Bless you and your family

p.s. weite
