re: Childcare

I chose not to send my SWCAH daughter to child care because I believed that I was the only one that should be responsible for her wellbeing when she was a baby.  We were still learning about CAH and I thought it was a big responsibility for a child care facility and one I didn’t think they were completely capable of handling (understandably).  When she was 4 we sent her to child care for 2 half days per week to improve her social skills and to prepare her for school.  By this age we were much more informed on CAH, she got sick less often, and we were able to "read" her and know when she was getting sick and run down and therefore not send her.   Everyone handles CAH differently but I felt much more comfortable caring for her myself in her younger years and keeping a close eye on her wellbeing.
