I’m from the San Jose area.  I have Classical CAH.  I am one of three kids in my family born with CAH.

I grew up seeing Dr. Debra Cohen at Kaiser.  She was attentive and knowledgeable.  We absolutely loved her.  The only drawback was that she was with Kaiser.  We actually ended up sticking with that insurance for many years because we couldn’t find someone else in San Jose that we liked nearly as much.  It appears that San Jose has had a shortage of good peds endos for years now!          

We moved to Santa Cruz when I was in high school and we started seeing Dr. Larry Levin.  He was great too...certainly experienced with CAH and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we got what we needed.  If you are willing to drive an hour in that direction, he is with Sutter/Santa Cruz Med Foundation.
