Well my husband gets these when he is coming down with something. He does not have CAH. I can look at him and say, "Oh, you are coming down with something, you got your dark circles. " and sure enough a few days later, he is sick. Before I had my daughter I laughed and said, "Boy I hope I have a child that has this trait so I too can predict ahead of time, when they will be sick." Well sure enough, even though she looks like me with her blue eyes and blonde hair, she has her fathers trait of getting dark circles under her eyes when she is coming down with something.

I am not sure if that is why your daughter has them or not. Some blame the circles on allergies, some on not enough sleep, and some may say it is their medication. But this was the reason we have always blamed the dark circles under her eyes from. My daughter has SWCAH, and is 9 years old. I will be interested in the response to this thread. I never thought about the dark circles in regards to CAH, so it just may be related. CAH is always a learning process for us.
