Chloe, I don’t know anything about Hoodia, but I would suggest you ask your endocrinologist about taking it.  If you are constantly hungry, maybe you should have your levels checked.  I know that steroids can increase appetite, but given in the right dose should not have that much of an effect.  That has always one of the first signs for my daughter that she is oversuppressed.  Having said that, please don’t decrease your meds either without getting labs and the advice of your endo.  Lastly,  just because something says it is "all natural" does not make it safe.  It is still a "drug" in the body and should be treated as such.  I know weight is a big problem for many with CAH and my own daughter fights it all the time.  She has done best when she ate a healthy low fat diet and exercised - like the rest of us who don’t have CAH.  I recently met with a dietician who gave me lots of good info on just such a diet and my daughter is benefitting from that information, too.  Good luck and don’t get discouraged.  It’s hard, but with determination you can loose the weight and be healthy and those lifestyle changes can help for a lifetime.
