Hi Tonia, I can really relate to your story. Our daughter was born first with SWCAH. Two years later her brother was born and we found out when he was 3 days old that he too has SWCAH. I cried and cried for the same reasons you expressed. My husband, much stronger than I, was thrilled at the news. He said, "Now they’ll always have each other to depend on and to help each other and to understand each other. They’ll never be alone." I had never thought of it that way before. Now at 15 and 13, they are typical brother and sister, but when it comes to taking meds, blood draws, illness, accidents, etc, they are so wonderful to each other. God knows what He’s doing.Michele
