my doctors all agreed that they wanted to wait and do an amnio until after we knew the sex of the baby.  since our oldest son was born relatively healthy, they are of the belief that any boys I have will be ok, even if they have cah.  if it’s a girl though, they want to do the amnio and have the tests done at the mayo clinic (we live in the twin cities).  so far I have two boys, but we’ll see with this one.  BUT, the doctors did say they’d rather do an amnio, not the other test...
