I viewed taking dex during pregnancy as a way to reduce the chances of my then unborn needing future surgery... not cosmetic surgery.

Another footnote - because of my increasing blood pressure from the dex and the risk the high blood pressure had on the pregnancy I had decided (before the CVS results came in) that regardless of results **I** would have to get off the dex. I wanted a "healthy" LIVE baby, period (healthy vs the trauma of having a 10 week early premmie like my son)
