Just so you don’t feel bad,  we had our second son diagnosed with an amnio-  they still will not treat until the child presents with CAH-  we had to wait several days to start treatment with him too-  drove me crazy just waiting for him to get sick-  he ended up back in hospital with an IV at a couple days old.  This is still standard protocol.
