All I heard on our local channel (Richmond, VA) was that there was a production problem and they are not getting it as fast as they usually do. The pediatrician commented that he hoped to be able to start giving shots in November and was hoping for a late flu season. Then they gave the symptoms of the flu (fever, respiratory problems, coughing, aching). This only applies to the dose for small children because they cannot take the larger adult dose in one shot. As a side note, it was also on the news that there were a large number of students at William and Mary College (in Williamsburg, VA) experiencing flu-like symptoms and they don’t know if that means it is already starting. I hope this info helps.Kay
