The same happened to my son (He is now 17 and 5’8").  He was hard to supress and we had problems most of his life but especially when he was under a year.  There is a place on his growth chart when he was an infant where his growth rate dips below all other spots.  We also had him in the hospital with adrenal crisis a couple of times in his first 5 years of life.  It always seemed strange to me because our daughter who is 4 years older and also SWCAH stayed right on her growth path from infancy and never did have any adrenal crisis problems until she was a teenager and burning the candle at both ends. I don’t have a solution but I think you are right to notice and pursue it with different doctors.
