Danny you are right about the breast bud thing that it can be part of normal puberty,  the problem we were facing was my sons age,  as he was maybe 8 or 9 so we did not want him to start puberty.  He put on an increased dose of cortef and is doing fine and is 10 1/2.  Showing no signs of puberty.  He is quite slim so weight was not part of the picture for us.
