Our pediatrician told us that babies/toddlers/young children run hotter than adults.  He said their normal temperatur is usually about 99-100.  A temp of 101.5 might just be the normal reaction to the shots.  My daughter always ran a slight fever after her shots.

Give him what he needs (tylenol or motrin) if the fever continues to increase or doesn’t break by tomorrow or he goes into a crisis then call the doctor.
