Danny CarltonMonday through Thursday I get to bed around 9:30 or 10pm. Then I get up at 3am to exercise and fix breakfast for my wife. On weekends (Friday-Sunday) I get to catch up, by sleeping in to 6 or 7am. That’s the life of a stay-at-home dad.
I do get an occasional half-hour nap during the week.
The benefits are, I never suffer from insomnia and it’s nice and quiet when I go for my mile walk at 3am. But one big draw-back is that I find it almost impossible to stay awake through the sermon on Sunday, which generally results in another sermon from my wife about disrespecting the pastor.
