Funny you should mention that. We just got back from our endocrinologist and his levels are high, still. He has been a little out of control for a while. Six months ago his levels were at 6,000. We upped the cortef and he was having problems sleeping so I talked to his doctor about giving larger doses in the morning and afternoon with the last dose being smaller. His sleep improved greatly. But we just found out that his levels are still at 2,500. They are only increasing him another 5 MG. I am worried about weight gain. He broke his back last christmas and has been having pain, thus inactivity. He is now on 10mg/10mg/5mg. Thank you for your response. Even if our kids’ levels are off, it is still scarey to me because it means that something else is happening hormonally with them that the doctors may not know what to do for.Heather
