This is so heartbreaking to hear.  My thoughts and prayers are with this precious family.

I hope what I am about to say in not inappropriate at this time.  I don’t know the circumstances of what happened but it does remind us that we need to be vigilant, especially as the flu season approaches.  And I am in no way saying they weren’t vigilant.  I just made sure we have enough of all the "sick supplies" we need including our solu cortef.  We ALWAYS inject before going to the ER.  Sometimes it has made the difference in not needing to go and sometimes it has saved their life because the wait was so long.  CARES has wonderful people to help navigate parents through learning about CAH, if you ever have questions.  There are many parents with older children that are there to help and mentor the parents with babies and younger children.  If you need the help, don’t be afraid to reach out.

Blessings to all and sincere condolensces to the family.  I will be praying for them.
