re: re: Where do you keep solu-cortef?

My mom bought us a "Diabetic" insulated med bag. It’s a small, soft sided bag with several interior zippered sections and a pocket that holds a frozen gel pack to keep meds cold. We keep our Cortef, Florinef, and Solucortef in this bag, which goes with us anytime we leave the house. I also keep Children’s Motrin, Tylenol, pill splitter, oral syringes, and a couple of small med cups for sips of water in this bag. The gel pack stays in the freezer, and we only put it in if we’re going to be outdoors for an extended period of time during the summer.

Also, don’t forget that heat is not kind to Solu-Cortef, so don’t leave your meds in the car during the summer.

Hope
